Business Development Manager (Attractive Base Salary + Company Vehicle!)

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and self-managed Business Development Manager to join the Queensland sales team of an established Australian industry leader qualityof wear parts and solutions to customers across the mining, quarrying, construction, civil and earthmoving industries. With over four decades industry experience, the business has built a strong reputation for quality products, reliable service and long-standing customer relationships.

Working Monday to Friday, the role will involve regular customer visits throughout Brisbane’s northern suburbs and the Sunshine Coast, with occasional travel outside the local area required approximately 1–2 times per month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities across South East Queensland.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within the region.
- Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand requirements, provide support and strengthen relationships.
- Provide tailored product recommendations and technical support to meet customer needs.
- Prepare accurate quotations, manage follow-ups and proactively progress sales opportunities through to completion.
- Work closely with internal sales, operations and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain a robust understanding of customer requirements, market conditions, competitor activity and industry trends.
- Manage accurate customer records and sales activity through CRM systems.

What You’ll Bring:





- Proven experience in sales, business development, territory management or account management.
- Experience within earthmoving, mining, quarrying, construction, civil or related industries is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills with a self-managed and proactive approach.
- A strong commercial focus and a demonstrated ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Confidence attending customer worksites and an understanding of WHS responsibilities.
- Resilience and the ability to remain professional when managing demanding or urgent customer requirements.
- The ability to influence decisions and provide solutions-focused outcomes that genuinely add value to customers.
- Strong computer skills and experience using CRM and other digital platforms.
- A willingness to work collaboratively with internal teams.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys being out on the road, building genuine customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and taking ownership of their territory. A base salary range between $90,000 – $100,000 (plus superannuation) including a fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, laptop and phone. (Commission structure based on sales, with OTE approximately $120,000)
