An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a leading, well-established Corporate and Commercial team in the Melbourne CBD.
This role would suit an intermediate Legal Assistant with around 3–4 years’ experience who has genuine Corporate and/or Commercial legal experience and is looking to join a busy and team-oriented team supporting a team of lawyers.
About the role
- Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support.
- Managing matters, correspondence, documents and key deadlines
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting with corporate transactions, due diligence and transaction processes
- Conducting ASIC and other relevant searches
- Coordinating document execution and signing
- Assisting with client onboarding and matter administration
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
- Assisting with billing, WIP and end-of-month processes

- Able to manage a busy workload and work autonomously
