Local Delivery Driver – Van | Earlyrise Baking Co

Earlyrise Baking Co is seeking two reliable Local Delivery Drivers (Van) to join our growing team on a casual basis:

Orange - Monday and Friday

Bathurst - Saturday

In these early-morning roles, you'll be the friendly face delivering our freshly baked products to local customers and businesses across the region, ensuring every delivery is made safely, on time, and with a smile.

Shift Details

We have two positions available across our regional network:

Orange – Monday and Friday between 3:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Bathurst – Saturday between 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

About the Role

- Delivery (Van) – Safely delivering freshly baked and packed products to local customers, including loading and unloading bakery items involving lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 25 kg.
- Customer Service - providing excellent customer service, answering queries on the run, and passing on customer feedback or complaints to the appropriate personnel.




- Route & Time Management – Following delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries across the local area.
- Cleaning – assisting with daily end-of-shift cleaning of the vehicle to maintain fleet standards.

About You

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar driving or delivery role;
- Hold a valid C Class (Car) licence and are comfortable driving a delivery van;
- While not mandatory, a Forklift licence would be highly regarded;
- An understanding of Food Safety, Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP standards;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality work standards;
- Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25 kg).
