Amtan Medical Centres is a multi-site, award-winning provider of comprehensive healthcare on the Gold Coast. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our established General Practice as an Independent Contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist looking to build or expand their private practice within a supportive, multidisciplinary primary care environment, with access to an established patient base and potential referrals from our GP team.

The Opportunity

As an independent practitioner, you will have the flexibility to establish your preferred consulting days and hours while working alongside experienced GPs and other healthcare professionals.

Our practice can provide:

· Established General Practice with an existing patient base

· Strong potential for internal GP referrals

· Consulting room within a professional medical environment

· Reception and administrative support

· Appointment and practice management systems

· Flexible consulting days and hours

About You





We are seeking a psychologist who:

· Holds current AHPRA registration as a psychologist

· Has appropriate professional indemnity insurance

· Holds or is eligible for a Medicare provider number

· Has an ABN and is comfortable working under an independent contractor arrangement

· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred psychological care

· Can work independently while collaborating effectively with referring GPs

Experience working within General Practice, Mental Health Treatment Plans and Medicare-funded psychological services would be highly regarded.

Contractor Arrangement

This position is offered on an independent contractor basis, providing flexibility and autonomy in managing your clinical practice. Commercial terms, including service/management fees and consulting arrangements, will be discussed with the successful practitioner.
