About the roleWe are seeking a skipper (Master <24m) to assist with a short-term project in Merimbula involving the removal of a jetty/boardwalk and installation of piles. You will operate a 6m push punt and a 12m splitable, road transportable dumb barge with hydraulic spuds. A coxswain 3 operator familiar with the vessel and operations will be present and will be the excavator operator from our company who will have a 10t excavator aboard.Key responsibilitiesOperate and manage the barge and push punt during jetty/boardwalk removal and pile installationWork split shifts due to tidal constraints, including short day hours and night shifts when tides are high for positioning the bargeAssist with piling locations and rigging/lifting of boardwalk timbers to the bargeComplete rigging of slings for excavator as requiredUse mobile phone for GPS tracking software, online inductions, AMSA forms,
