Role Description The Workplace Health and Safety Trainer will design, deliver, and assess accredited and non-accredited workplace health and safety training programs for clients in the Greater Perth Area. This contract, on-site role involves facilitating classroom and workplace-based sessions, adapting training materials to meet organizational needs, and ensuring compliance with RTO and regulatory standards. The trainer will conduct learner assessments, provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate training and assessment records, and support learners to achieve competency. The role also includes collaborating with clients to contextualize content, participating in moderation and validation activities,



and contributing to continuous improvement of training resources and delivery.
Qualifications
Relevant vocational qualifications in Work Health and Safety (e.g., Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher) and current industry experience.Trainer and assessor credentials (e.g., TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent) and strong knowledge of RTO standards and compliance.Demonstrated experience delivering workplace health and safety training, including risk assessment, hazard identification, incident response, and safety systems.Ability to design, contextualize, and update training and assessment materials to align with organizational requirements and regulatory frameworks.Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups and support adult learning principles.Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, including managing documentation, reporting, and learner progress tracking.Proficiency with digital tools used for training delivery and administration (e.g., LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, online collaboration tools).Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical practice, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.Current right to work in Australia and ability to work on-site across the Greater Perth Area; valid driver’s license and reliable transport are highly regarded.
