Requirements for this role:
- At least Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Certificate IV in Automotive Diagnosis (or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in automotive mechanical repairs and service.
- Open Driver’s License.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner recharges, frontend alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems
- Provide accurate repair recommendations
- Inspect vehicles according to legal requirements for emissions and safety
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
- Assist senior technicians and service advisors as needed
- Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting
Skill & Experience
- Prior experience in express or general automotive service
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive both automatic and manual
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
