We are looking for curious and motivated finance professionals to work with our stakeholders across North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) to enable the provision of excellent health care to our community.

This vacancy is for Permanent Full Time and Full-time Fixed Term appointments (76 hrs per fortnight / 1.0 FTE). We currently have 2 Full-time vacancies to fill within the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) finance and business partnering teams. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

What is our Business Manager role?

NMHS is a $3.0 billion dollar organisation with a diverse workforce of almost 15,000 people. NMHS delivers health services from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Graylands Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus, and also provides over 30 statewide services across Western Australia. The work you do in the Finance team contributes to improving the care of patients at these hospitals and services.

In the NMHS Finance team you will have a sense of purpose and community. You will be joining a Finance team of more than 120 people that performs a divese range of functions including financial accounting and statutory reporting; revenue and accounts receivable; business partnering; budgeting and management accounting; performance monitoring and developing financial strategy and reporting outputs. The Finance team is a dynamic and rapid paced environment and is looking for committed finance professionals who are keen and willing to deliver best practice solutions.

The Business Manager at Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) provides senior financial leadership, overseeing finance, accounting, performance management, and strategic advice. Through solid business partnering, they support clinical and non-clinical stakeholders with financial expertise to inform decisions and improve healthcare outcomes

Reporting to the Director Finance and Business Partnering of SCGOPHCG and partners with Divisional Directors and Senior Leaders to drive performance against agreed KPIs. Provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of business and governance initiatives, ensuring effective governance across finance, workforce, procurement, contracts and activity management

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service or the wider public service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
