Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of financial reporting, management accounting, reconciliations, compliance activities, and commercial analysis across a multi-site operation.

Key responsibilities include

- Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and cashflow reporting
- Analysing business performance, profitability, margins, costs, and operational drivers
- Delivering detailed budget and forecast variance analysis with meaningful commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
- Managing month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting
- Assisting with audit requirements, BAS preparation, statutory reporting, and compliance activities
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen reporting and internal controls
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role,



you will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

You will possess

- CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting, or a similar commercial finance role
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, construction materials, or another multi-site environment will be highly regarded
- Strong month-end accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and analysis skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into practical business insights
- A hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
