Position Overview:

As Logistics Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management, supplier relationships, and warehouse operations at our Adelaide location, working within the Pilatus Australia policies and procedures. This role ensures stock availability, compliance with aviation regulations, and effective team leadership to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary

Inventory Management:

- Oversee parts ordering and procurement, including exploring alternative suppliers.

- Maintain and control inventory systems for aeronautical products and spare parts/components.

- Ensure appropriate stock levels and proper storage, including review of shelf-life requirements.

- Manage unserviceable parts and exchange cores.

- Conduct cyclic counts through planned and scheduled cycle counting, including counting, creating cycle counts, entering data, and resolving discrepancies.

Compliance & Reporting:

- Develop, implement, and monitor systems and processes to ensure efficient operations.

- Maintain compliance with aviation safety and quality standards.





- Provide accurate inventory/dashboard reporting to management.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Maintain close liaison with customers to ensure timely fulfilment of back orders and other needs.

- Lead and manage a close-knit team.

- Ensure responsive and high-quality support to customers.

- Provide support for team members during leave or sickness.

- Contribute to management forums and collaborate with other departments.

Additional Tasks

Warehouse Administration:

- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and proper organization.

- Monitor incoming and outgoing items to ensure accuracy.

- Oversee equipment compliance, including scheduling and tracking services forklift, Hanel Lean Lifts and Scales.

Sales Orders & Distribution:

- Create, manage, and distribute price lists monthly.

- Review and process sales orders for accuracy and efficiency.

- Approve and manage supplier relationships relative to Spare Parts in compliance with PART 145 AMO requirements.

- Maintain accuracy in the inventory ordering and distribution system.

General responsibilities:

- On a rotation basis, provide 24/7/365 on-call AOG (Aircraft On Ground) parts support (including weekends and public holidays).

Qualifications





- Relevant certification in logistics or warehouse management.

Experience

- Management and supervision experience.

- Detailed working knowledge and understanding of inventory and supply management and industry best practices.
