Leading Hand Shopfitter / Joiner – Bespoke Joinery

We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand Shopfitter / Joiner to join our team at our Seven Hills factory.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality bespoke commercial joinery and has the experience to assist in leading a small team and see projects through from factory production to site installation.

We specialise in commercial retail, hospitality and high-end bespoke joinery, so every project is different.

Key Skills & Experience

- Bespoke & architectural joinery
- Curved and laminated joinery
- Natural and decorative veneers
- 2-pack polyurethane finishes
- High-end cabinetry and detailed joinery
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings
- Factory assembly and site installation
- Leading and working with a small team
- Quality control and problem solving

The Role

- Assist the Foreman in leading a team of joiners and apprentices
- Coordinate day-to-day factory production
- Build and assemble bespoke joinery
- Manufacture curved and laminated components




- Carry out veneer pressing and detailed veneer work
- Work with 2-pack finished components
- Quality check completed joinery
- Prepare projects for site installation
- Ensure work is completed accurately, to a high standard and on schedule

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a qualified or highly experienced joiner/shopfitter who enjoys quality bespoke work rather than repetitive production.

You should be confident reading drawings, solving problems and taking responsibility for getting the job done right.

Strong experience in curved joinery, veneers, polyurethane and high-end bespoke work will be highly regarded.
