Role Description The Senior Practice Manager is a contract, on-site position based in Brisbane. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of qualified service practices, including workflow management, resource allocation, and service delivery standards.
The Senior Practice
Manager will implement and refine operational processes, monitor financial performance, and support business development initiatives aligned with client growth targets. Day-to-day tasks include leading and coaching practice teams, managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations,
and preparing reports and insights for senior leadership and clients. The role also involves identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting change initiatives, and coordinating with Your GM’s broader team to deliver consistent, high-quality practice management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in practice or operations management within professional services (e.g., legal, accounting, engineering, or medical practices).
- Strong skills in business planning, financial oversight, and performance monitoring to support sustainable growth.
- Proficiency in process improvement, workflow design, and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Excellent leadership, team coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making and preparing clear, actionable reports and recommendations.
- Experience working in or with executive-level management structures is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements for professional service practices.
