Are you passionate about strengthening Aboriginal-led policy, practice and service delivery for children, young people and families?
VACYPA is seeking a Senior Project Officer (Identified) - SAFS Evidence and Partnerships to help build a strong Aboriginal evidence base and foster strategic partnerships that support community-led change across Victoria.
In this role, you'll work closely with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), government, researchers and sector partners to ensure evidence, evaluation and learning are grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing and the voices of Aboriginal communities.
About the RoleYou will
- Coordinate evidence collection and analyse insights from Communities of Practice and consultations
- Support evaluation activities, outcome monitoring and evaluation framework development
- Translate evidence into practical resources that support sector learning and improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with research partners and key stakeholders
- Contribute to collaborative projects, planning, reporting and organisational priorities
- Champion culturally responsive practice across all areas of work
About YouWe're looking for someone who has:
- A strong understanding of Aboriginal self-determination and the Victorian child and family services system
- Experience working with Aboriginal organisations and communities, with a genuine commitment to community-controlled approaches
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable: Qualifications in community services, social work, education, business, project management or a related field.

Requirements
- Working with Children Check,
- National Police Check, and
- A valid Victorian driver's licence (or willingness to obtain).
- This position is pursuant to the 'special measures' provision at section 8 of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth). Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply.field, or equivalent experience.
