Rocket is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our Sydney hybrid office.

To apply, you should have more than three years of experience in a digital marketing or SEO agency setting, with a comprehensive grounding across technical, on-page, off-page, content and strategy. You should also have experience managing or mentoring others, whether that's formally leading a team or informally guiding junior specialists day-to-day. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is also a growing part of the role, so an interest in how LLMs and answer engines work will go a long way.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Leading and mentoring a small team of SEO specialists, setting the standard for how we approach client work.
- Owning SEO strategy for a portfolio of clients, from technical fixes through to content and off-page work.
- Running in-depth audits and health checks using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush.
- Working across GEO, helping clients get found and cited in AI-generated answers, not just traditional search results.
- Growing organic traffic and SERP rankings through strategies backed by solid data and reporting.
- Staying ahead of the curve on SEO and AI trends and tools, and bringing that knowledge back to the team.
