PR Water Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in the rental and operation of Water Treatment & Environmental equipment. Due to growth within the company, an opportunity has arisen for a Water and Environmental Technician to join the team at our Burleigh Heads Branch.

About the Role:

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, solving problems on site and being actively involved in the delivery of water treatment solutions. The majority of your time will be spent on construction, civil and industrial sites commissioning, servicing, maintaining and operating water treatment equipment, as well as undertaking manual labour associated with project installation, operation and decommission.

This is a labour-intensive position requiring regular lifting and carrying of pumps, hoses, pipework, fittings, chemicals and equipment. You will be responsible for commissioning and servicing PR Water equipment, operating water treatment systems, monitoring water quality, adjusting chemical dosing systems and troubleshooting operational issues to ensure projects continue to operate safely and efficiently. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships with site supervisors, engineers and project managers while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

- Commissioning, servicing and operating mobile water treatment systems.

- Installing and removing pumps, pipelines, hoses, chemical dosing systems and ancillary equipment.

- Loading,



unloading and manually handling equipment and materials.

- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance using hand and power tools.

- Monitoring water quality, adjusting chemical dosing rates and recording operational data.

- Conducting site inspections, troubleshooting equipment faults and responding to operational issues.

- Maintaining truck wheel wash systems, dust suppression equipment and associated infrastructure.

- Completing pre-delivery, servicing and off-hire inspections of equipment.

- Maintaining warehouse and yard presentation, stock control and consumable inventory.

- Safely handling, transporting and storing treatment chemicals in accordance with company procedures.

- Travelling to metropolitan, regional, interstate and remote project sites to support operations as required.

- Assisting with yard duties such as equipment maintenance (preventive and corrective), cleaning/preparing various equipment received from site for redeployment.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

- Trade qualification or tertiary qualification (preferred).

- Current driver's licence (essential).

- Forklift licence (preferred).

- Experience in construction, civil works, mechanical trades, maintenance,



warehouse operations or other physically demanding environments.

- Demonstrated experience using hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment safely.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

- A high level of physical fitness with the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks throughout the day.

- Ability to safely lift, carry, push and move heavy equipment and materials.

- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on active construction sites.

- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.

- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with site supervisors, engineers and clients.

- Positive organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and solve problems effectively.

- Basic computer skills and the ability to complete service reports and operational records.

- Experience with water treatment systems, pumps, chemical dosing equipment or water clarification processes will be highly regarded but is not essential.

You will be working as a motivated team member responsible for the development and increase share of the business within Queensland. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage physically demanding workloads throughout the day and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week with a company vehicle provided.
