At Cairns Hardware, part of the Dahlsens Group, we're looking for an experienced and commercially astute Sales Manager to lead our Northern Division sales team and help drive the next phase of growth across our business. This is a leadership role for someone who can balance strong commercial outcomes with authentic relationship building, bringing out the best in both customers and team members.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll develop and execute the Northern Division sales strategy, strengthen key customer relationships and lead a team of Account Managers to achieve exceptional results.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing strategic sales growth plans
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team
- Growing and maintaining key customer relationships
- Driving revenue, margin and market share growth
- Identifying current commercial opportunities across the region
- Analysing performance data and market trends to inform decision-making




- Enhancing customer experience and customer engagement strategies
- Building a solution-focused sales culture that delivers value to customers and the business

ABOUT YOU

You are a commercially minded leader with a strong track record of delivering results through people.

You bring:

- Proven sales leadership experience
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to influence and engage people at all levels
- Experience coaching and developing successful teams
- A customer-centric approach and passion for building long-term relationships
- Experience within building supplies, timber, construction or a related industry will be highly regarded
