About the role

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety. The Charcoal Inn Hotel Casino is a popular hotel serving locals, travellers and visitors, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality meals and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

- Has relevant chef qualifications or solid commercial kitchen experience

- Confident working independently and as part of a team

- Can handle a busy kitchen during peak service periods

- Takes pride in preparing fresh, quality meals

- Has valuable knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene

- Reliable, punctual and well organised

- Has a positive attitude and works well with others
