General Practice Nurse – Part Time

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Practice Nurse RN to join our friendly and supportive team in a part-time capacity.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working collaboratively within a busy general practice environment and is looking to make a real contribution to patient care and the overall success of the clinic.

About the Role

The successful applicant will play an important role in supporting our doctors and patients, with a solid focus on chronic disease management, care planning, and preventative health.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and coordinating GP Management Plans (Care Plans) and Team Care Arrangements

- Completing Health Assessments

- Assisting with chronic disease management and patient follow-up

- Performing routine nursing duties including wound care, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, and health education

- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and recalls

- Supporting quality improvement initiatives within the clinic

- Working collaboratively with GPs, administration staff, and allied health providers

- Providing compassionate and professional patient care

Essential Criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience in General Practice Nursing preferred but not essential

- Experience with Care Plans and Health Assessments highly regarded

- Strong computer and administrative skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
