Your Next Opportunity - OSHC Team Leader

Are you passionate about creating engaging, safe, and supportive environments for young people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic OSHC Team Leader to join our not-for-profit Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Services, proudly meeting and exceeding national quality education standards.

We currently have two temporary maternity leave opportunities available:

- Full-time, 12-months , Monady to Friday split shifts
- Part-time, 3-months Thursday and Fridaysplit shifts (with an opportunity to extend)

These opportunities are ideal for experienced educators looking to step into a leadership role and make a positive impact within our OSHC services.

About the Role

The OSHC Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting the Cluster Director to deliver high quality, inclusive programs that meet the needs of young people, families, and the community. This role will include split-shift hours, and the opportunity for flexibility as rosters may change.

You will collaborate closely with your team and leadership to ensure services operate smoothly, in line with local, state, and federal requirements.





We currently have a position available at Yoorami OSHC located in Werrington !

Here’s what you’ll be up to…

- Program Coordination & Planning - Coordinate and deliver engaging, creative, and leisure based activities tailored to young people’s interests.
- Team Leadership - Guide, mentor and support educators, ensuring teamwork and clear communication.
- Child Supervision & Wellbeing - Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace for young people aged 5-12.
- Compliance & Administration - Maintain records, ensure policies and regulations are met, and uphold high-quality standards.

- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a qualification (or working towards) in a relevant field (Childcare, Sport & Recreation, Youth Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Community Services, Health).
- To be fun, energetic and passionate about working with young people.
- Responsible Person (RP) experience.
- Ability to innovate and contribute creative program ideas.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Experience working with young people in a centre-based care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Holds an LR licence or willingness to obtain one
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards).
- Skills in behaviour support, conflict resolution, and inclusion strategies.
- Previous leadership experience in OSHC or children’s services.




- Flexibility to work across rotating split shifts with some full days
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Experience supporting services through Assessment and Rating.
