You will be responsible for managing a range of personal injury matters from initial instruction through to settlement or resolution. You will work closely with clients, barristers, medical practitioners, insurers and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Managing your own caseload of personal injury matters

Conducting client conferences and providing clear, practical legal advice

Preparing correspondence, pleadings, statements and other legal documentation

Conducting negotiations with insurers and other parties

Preparing matters for settlement, mediation and litigation where required

Reviewing medical and other expert evidence

Maintaining accurate file management and meeting court and procedural deadlines

Developing strong, professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders

About you

2–3 years' post-admission experience in personal injury law

Demonstrated experience managing personal injury files with a good level of autonomy





Strong understanding of NSW personal injury legislation, procedures and limitation requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Robust analytical, negotiation and problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

A client-focused approach and genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes

The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
