About the Prospect
As a member of the Exams, Results, Progression and Graduation team within Student Administration, you will support our students and stakeholders by providing service excellence and timely advice within a pivotal and multi‑functional area of the Student Services and Operations division. This position requires flexibility and the ability to think on the spot, particularly during main exam periods when additional hours are required. The role demands a commitment to maintaining high standards under pressure. While this role is based in Hobart, occasional travel to the north may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining the exam timetable for centrally scheduled exam periods (with a focus on the details for own campus of responsibility).
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth exam operations.
- Coordinate and deliver on‑campus exams in Hobart / Launceston (and help facilitate the delivery of on‑campus exam sessions in Burnie),
including the rostering and management of casual exam supervisors, and managing exam material and space requirements.
- Assist with the processing of student results, and support for academic progress and graduation tasks, ensuring seamless team coverage of these areas.
Qualifications
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills; adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail with proven problem‑solving abilities to address process and venue‑related issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experienced in both independent and team‑based work environments.
- Technically proficient; experienced in troubleshooting and enhancing processes, particularly within student management systems in higher education or similar settings.
Salary Details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
