Join the energetic team at Martin Brothers as a Landscape Estimator in our Brisbane office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for a wide range of landscaping projects, pricing to win, ensuring the company remains competitive and profitable.

What you'll be doing

- Analyse project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including itemised breakdowns of direct and indirect costs
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project requirements and negotiate contract terms
- Maintain a comprehensive database of supplier and subcontractor information, pricing, and availability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and changing regulations that could impact project costs
- Provide support and advice to the estimating team, sharing your expertise and helping to streamline processes

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Landscape Estimator or similar role in the construction industry




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of Bluebeam and Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices
