Move from advising strategy to owning it

Have you built your career solving complex business problems in consulting, corporate strategy, or investment environments and are now looking to make a bigger impact?

At Smart, we're looking for a Senior Manager Strategy to help shape our enterprise strategy, work closely with Executive Leaders and the Board, and lead high-impact strategic initiatives that drive growth, transformation, and innovation across the business. This is an chance to move beyond recommendations and take ownership of outcomes.

This role is would suit someone from a leading strategy consulting firm who wants to make the move in-house and see strategic recommendations become reality, and create measurable business value..

To be successful at Smart

- Bring 7-10+ years' experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a similarly fast-paced commercial environment.

- Have a track record of solving complex problems and turning insight into action and strategic initiatives.

- Demonstrate strong commercial judgement, financial acumen and strategic thinking.

- Build trusted relationships quickly. Influence and communicate effectively with peers, Executive and Board-level stakeholders.

- Thrive in ambiguity and manage competing priorities with confidence.

- Take ownership, move with pace to drive measurable results.





- Be naturally curious and constantly look for better ways of working, improving outcomes for customers and the business.

- Actively use AI tools to improve quality, speed and impact of your work.

- Enjoy experimenting, learning and sharing new approaches with others.

- Lead with a collaborative mindset and develop capability to bring the best out in others.
