Senior Team Leader Triage and Advisory Services

- Clerk Grade 9/10, commencing salary $133,348 plus super

About the role The Senior Team Leader Triage and Advisory Services role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality regulatory decision-making, operational effectiveness, and strong governance outcomes.

This role is responsible for, but not limited to:

- Lead a specialist team delivering consistent, high-quality triage, assessment and verification activities in line with SafeWork NSW's National Triage Framework and legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to frontline staff to build capability and support consistent and fair decision-making.
- Monitor triage volumes, trends and emerging issues to inform regulatory intelligence and operational prioritisation.
- Ensure accurate data capture, record management and compliance with privacy and governance obligations.
- Oversee the delivery of high-level administrative and governance support across key operational functions.




- Support effective resolution pathways and strengthen SafeWork NSW's regulatory response to workplace risks, including psychological risk and harm.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service consistency, efficiency and regulatory performance.

- Experience working within a regulatory, compliance or investigative environment, with a strong understanding of WHS frameworks and principles.
- Ability to influence, mentor and coach staff to ensure consistent application of policy, process and legislative requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, manage competing priorities and contribute to operational planning.
- Proven people leadership experience, including developing capability, fostering engagement and driving continuous improvement.
- Resilience, adaptability and sound judgement when managing sensitive, complex or high-profile matters.
