?️ We’re Hiring: Server Support Engineer

We are seeking a technically skilled, reliable, and proactive Server Support Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting systems, maintaining server environments, and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of critical IT infrastructure.

? Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain physical and virtual server environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.

• Perform server health checks, system monitoring, and routine maintenance.

• Diagnose and resolve server, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.

• Manage user accounts, system permissions, services, and server configurations.

• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.

• Monitor system performance, storage capacity, CPU, memory, and network utilization.

• Perform system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery activities.

• Apply security patches, software updates, and system configurations in accordance with IT policies.

• Troubleshoot network, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and connectivity-related issues.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system records, and incident reports.

• Work with vendors and senior infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.

• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and IT improvement projects.

• Ensure systems comply with internal security, availability, and operational standards.

✅ Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering,



or a related field is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in server support, system administration, IT infrastructure, or a related role.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.

- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
- Understanding of server monitoring, backup, recovery, and system maintenance processes.
- Basic knowledge of IT security, patch management, and access control.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to technical incidents.
- Solid attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Linux, VMware, or CCNA are a plus.
