We are seeking a technically skilled, proactive, and reliable Server Support Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting systems, maintaining server environments, and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of critical IT infrastructure.

? Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain physical and virtual server environments to ensure stability and availability.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.

• Perform regular server health checks, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance.

• Diagnose and resolve server, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.

• Manage system services, user accounts, permissions, and server configurations.

• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.

• Monitor CPU, memory, storage, network performance, and overall system capacity.

• Perform server backups, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures.

• Apply security patches, software updates, and system configurations according to IT policies.

• Troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and network connectivity issues.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system records, and incident reports.

• Work with vendors and senior infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.

• Support server upgrades, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure improvement projects.

• Assist in maintaining system security, reliability, and operational standards.

✅ Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in server support, system administration, IT infrastructure, or a related role.





• Fresh graduates with relevant technical experience or certifications may also be considered.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.

- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies is an advantage.
- Understanding of server monitoring, backup, recovery, and system maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of IT security, access control, and patch management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to technical incidents.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Linux, VMware, or CCNA are a plus.
