About the Role

DCS is seeking motivated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team of Industrial Cleaners on a casual, ad hoc basis .

This role supports mine site maintenance and shutdown work across the Mackay region, Bowen Basin, and surrounding areas . Work is offered as required, making it ideal for those seeking flexible, on-call shifts or additional income opportunities.

Blackwater, QLD residents are strongly encouraged to apply.

Our services include:

- Cleaning of Draglines, Excavators, Shovels, and Drills

- Hydro Excavation

- Office and Crib Room Cleaning

This is a great prospect for:

Requirements

The following qualifications are highly regarded (but not all essential to apply):

- Coal Board Medical*





- Driver’s Licence (MR/HR preferred)

- Standard 11

- Confined Space

- Gas Test Atmospheres

- Working at Heights

- Glencore/BMA Inductions

*Coal Board Medical is essential for the role; however, we can assist successful applicants in obtaining required competencies.

About You

- Previous mine site experience is advantageous, but not essential

- Open to current-to-industry applicants

- Willing to travel to various mine sites across the Bowen Basin

- Ideally based in or around Mackay, Rockhampton, Blackwater, or Moranbah

- Reliable, safety-focused, and adaptable

- Must have full working rights in Australia (no Working Holiday Visas)

- Blackwater, QLD residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
