About the role

Your key responsibility is to lead and deliver construction of access and clearing, forming pads long with piling works and FRP. QCS has multiple work fronts going at once and sometimes you are working as a team with engineers, safety, and other management

You will be site supervising projects of various scales and must be able to deliver in a Tier One environment. You are a key link between our client, the QCS management team and our project staff. Ultimately, you will be able to ensure our project sites are effectively structured and managed from mobilisation through to project completion. You are a key part of the Management team that keeps QCS unique and efficiency driven.

Working within a specialist Project and Construction team you will oversee specific projects to support our clients, and supervise QCS Engineering and Construction teams in the field.

Applicants need to have a strong experience the Powerline industry and preferably the civil aspects along with understanding the specs required. Must have a strong hands on approach with being able to work out RL‘s and day to day construction knowledge. You must have a track record as a Site Supervisor in a fast paced and flexible team.

This full time role is project site based.



You must be willing to travel and operate in the field. With a roster of 2/1

QCS has a large range of piling equipment and civil support plant to taken on a large range of projects and will need a supervisor that will adapt or enjoy the change of learning or taking on new tasks that may not be in there standard knowledge

When your away uplifts and expected allowances are paid, with a working roster of 2 weeks on and 1 week off

Skills and experience

Applicants will need to show;

- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor
- Experience in energy sector (power and renewables) is required
- Civil and foundation experience is required with a strong understanding of Levels.
- An ability to plan and order site supplies and equipment, including the management of in office suppliers
- An ability to work independently and drive others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An absolute attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- A proficiency in MS computer packages
- A mature approach to the workplace, an ability to complete tasks and adapt to change within a fast paced environment
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, manager, clients and suppliers
- An inquisitive attitude to the workplace. We are a team that learns from each other
- A positive approach to business processes and reporting
- Zero Harm approach to safety in the workplace
- A willingness to travel
