We’re looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of civil construction and earthworks projects. If you’re passionate about leadership, quality, safety, and achieving outstanding results, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

About the Role

As a Civil Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of civil construction projects from commencement through to completion. You’ll lead site teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of civil construction and earthworks projects from start to finish.

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources.

- Lead site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and project teams to achieve project objectives.

- Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, variations, and project performance.

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Australian Standards, and all WHS requirements.

- Prepare and review project documentation, including programmes, reports, cost forecasts, and progress claims.

- Drive a culture of safety, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing civil construction or infrastructure projects.

- Proven experience delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and contracts.

- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.

- Valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship available).

Qualifications

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred).

- Current White Card.

- Current Australian Driver Licence.

- First Aid Certificate (desirable).

- Knowledge of Australian civil construction standards and WHS legislation.
