About The Role And Where You Will Be Working
Our residential care team at Joseph Cooke House is looking for an experienced Therapy Assistant to provide client focused individual support to our valued residents. Catering for up to 57 residents, Joseph Cooke House in Shelley is located just one kilometre from the banks of the Canning River. You'll have the opportunity to apply your skills and experience to improve the safety and independence of our residents. They'll be looking to you for activities that will enhance self care, daily living skills and other rehabilitation activities.
This is a casual position.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Organise the activities planner and conduct activitiesSupport appropriate access to the resident's current interestsLiaise with community groups and schools to support activitiesWork as part of a teamShow compassion & exercise patienceTreat our residents & their family with respect
About You
We’re looking for a passionate Therapy Assistant with a Certificate III or equivalent in Individual Support. If you have experience in aged care and a genuine interest in supporting others, we’d love to hear from you too.
You’re someone who enjoys building connections—whether it’s chatting with residents, engaging with families, or collaborating with colleagues. Teamwork comes naturally to you,



and you bring warmth and positivity to every interaction.
