Echuca Regional Health is seeking a Locum General Surgery Registrar to assist with upcoming roster gaps.

This role is suited to a registrar with recent general surgical experience who is confident supporting surgical ward care, patient reviews, clinical documentation and escalation of care where required. Some shifts may include on-call responsibilities.

Clinical Environment

- General Surgery Registrar role in a regional hospital setting
- Day and afternoon shifts available
- Some on‑call requirements as rostered
- Supportive surgical team workplace
- Suitable for doctors with recent surgical registrar‑level experience

Key Duties

- Review and manage surgical patients
- Support ward‑based surgical care and management plans
- Complete documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with surgical, nursing and hospital teams

Eligibility Criteria

- Current CV
- Two consultant references
- Certified primary qualification
- Recent ALS




- Full COVID and flu vaccination evidence required
- Recent General Surgery Registrar experience
- Current AHPRA Registration and compliance documents as required
