About the Opportunity: An established and growing residential construction company is looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join its Brisbane-based HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, partnering with hiring managers and delivering a high-quality recruitment experience from attraction through to onboarding. You'll play a key role in supporting workforce growth while helping to improve recruitment processes and candidate engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of business functions.
- Prepare and advertise vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms.
- Source, engage and attract high-quality candidates using proactive search techniques.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment advice.
- Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Conduct phone screenings, reference checks and pre-employment checks.
- Work closely with external recruitment agencies where required.
- Review and update position descriptions to ensure they remain current.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, reporting and recruitment metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
- Provide general HR administration and support as required.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2-3+ years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies.
- Strong sourcing capability using SEEK, LinkedIn and other recruitment tools.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (desirable).
- Previous recruitment experience within the residential building or construction industry will be highly regarded.
