Supervisor - Civil Construction

About the Opportunity
A leading civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join its project delivery team across a range of civil infrastructure and earthworks projects in Western Australia.
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing site crews, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements, and delivering project outcomes safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. The role offers flexibility through both FIFO and DIDO roster arrangements and provides the opportunity to work on major civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day delivery of civil construction activities.
- Lead and coordinate site personnel, operators, trades, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and Supervisor responsibilities.
- Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety observations.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and productivity targets.
- Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and material resources.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and construction methodologies.
- Identify and manage site risks while implementing effective control measures.
- Maintain project records,
daily reports, permits, and safety documentation.
- Support and promote a positive safety culture across all work areas.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding site activities and project performance.
About You
- S26 training and certificate advantageous .
- Previous experience as Supervisor within civil construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary site crews.
- Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, and bulk civil construction activities.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and risk management processes.
- Ability to effectively manage project outcomes while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work FIFO or DIDO rosters on regional project sites.
