Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Speech Language Pathologist at BENJA Health.
The Speech Language
Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders for clients across various age groups and backgrounds within the NDIS framework. Daily responsibilities include conducting telehealth and remote assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed. The role also involves educating and supporting families and caregivers, preparing clear clinical documentation and reports, collaborating with other allied health professionals, and contributing to service planning and quality improvement.
The Speech Language
Pathologist will maintain professional standards, participate in supervision and ongoing learning, and ensure client-centered, culturally responsive care.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning.
- Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders across diverse client populations.
- Knowledge and clinical experience in managing Dysphagia, including safe swallowing assessments and interventions.
- Ability to address speech production difficulties (Speech) using evidence-based approaches and tools.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current professional registration or membership (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent).
- Experience or strong interest in working within the NDIS framework and community or telehealth settings.
- Robust interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote service delivery, documentation, and client communication.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and culturally safe, inclusive care.
