Speech Pathologist

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist at Connect PTS, you will assess, diagnose and manage communication and feeding disorders in children and young people. You will deliver services across individual therapy, group therapy, telehealth, home and school programs, working collaboratively within our wonderful multidisciplinary team.

Your Responsibilities

- Assess and diagnose children presenting with communication and/or feeding disorders.

- Plan and provide evidence based speech pathology services to clients through individual therapy, group therapy, telehealth, home programs & school programs for children.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and services.

- Identify and document client goals, evaluate progress and plan re-evaluation.

- Consult with family, school and other relevant stakeholders regarding assessment, diagnosis and management.

- Participate in multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment programs.

- Initiate and participate in quality improvement in consultation with line manager to evaluate service delivery and meet customer needs.

Employment Criteria

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- Eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

- Passion for family-centred practice

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
