We're partnering with a large government organisation delivering a major workforce management transformation program and are seeking an experienced UKG Pro WFM Specialist SME to join the project team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a UKG specialist who enjoys working across solution design, configuration, testing and implementation activities within complex enterprise environments.
Working alongside the UKG Pro WFM Lead and a multidisciplinary project team, you'll provide expert product knowledge and hands-on support to help deliver a modern enterprise rostering, timesheet and leave management solution.

About the Role
As the UKG Pro WFM Specialist SME, you will act as the functional subject matter expert across the implementation lifecycle, supporting business analysis, solution design, configuration activities, testing, deployment readiness and knowledge transfer.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the solution meets business, operational and compliance requirements while working closely with project stakeholders across functional, technical and business teams.
This role is ideal for someone with solid UKG Pro WFM or Kronos experience who enjoys solving complex workforce management challenges and influencing project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide specialist UKG Pro WFM expertise across design, configuration, testing and implementation activities.
- Support the delivery of the functional implementation workstream alongside the UKG Pro WFM Lead.
- Contribute to solution design workshops and provide guidance on configuration options and best-practice approaches.




- Review business requirements and translate them into practical UKG Pro WFM solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on UKG Pro WFM capabilities across:
- Timekeeping
- Scheduling and Rostering
- Accruals
- Leave Management
- Activities
- Analytics
- Integrations

- Assist with configuration workbook completion, documentation and system procedures.
- Support testing activities including test planning, scenario development, defect management and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysis, architecture, integration, testing and change teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify configuration, process and data risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and support operational readiness activities.

About You

- Proven experience working as a UKG Pro WFM Specialist, Functional Consultant, SME or Business Analyst on UKG Pro Workforce Management or Kronos implementations.
- Strong knowledge of one or more UKG Pro WFM functional areas, including:
- Time & Attendance
- Accruals
- Scheduling
- Forecasting
- Activities
- Analytics
- Data Hub
- Integrations

- Demonstrated experience contributing to solution design, configuration, workbook completion, testing and deployment activities.
- Experience translating workforce management, operational or industrial requirements into system configuration outcomes.




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system, process and configuration issues.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong documentation skills, including configuration guides, procedures, testing artefacts and knowledge transfer materials.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.
- UKG Pro WFM certification or equivalent hands-on product experience will be highly regarded.
