About the role
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Cert III Educator to join our team and support our service in maintaining the highest standards of education and care.
In this role you will be providing high-quality care and fostering a positive learning environment within our service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide High-Quality Care
- Ensure that children’s needs are met in a secure, nurturing and engaging environment to promote their emotional,
social and educational development.
Support Learning Activities
- Assist with the implementation of the educational program, following the curriculum and supporting children’s individual interests, strengths and development goals.
Be a Positive Role Model
- Model appropriate behaviour and communication skills, guiding children through daily routines and interactions.
Adaptability
- Work across different age groups and rooms as needed, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring a consistent and positive experience for all children.
Collaborate with the Team
- Work effectively with other educators and the centre management team to ensure smooth operations and communication.
Create a Safe and Inclusive Environment:
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming space that prioritises children’s health, safety and wellbeing.
- Foster a culture of respect and inclusivity, celebrating diversity and individual differences.
Promote Connection and Community:
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues to help foster a sense of belonging and collaboration.
What you'll need:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the EYLF 2.0
- Knowledge and understanding of educator responsibilities under the NQF
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
