Swim Instructor
$41.52 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)
This position is classified as a PACS Recreation Band 1 position under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration systems.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Swim Instructors to join our Swim School team. If you are passionate about teaching swimming, promoting water safety, and creating a fun and positive learning setting, we would love to hear from you.
As a Swim Instructor, you will play an important role in helping participants of all ages and abilities develop essential swimming skills and confidence in the water. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of programs that are safe, engaging, and maximise participation.

About our Swim School
Kwinana Swim School is a Royal Life Saving endorsed swim school delivering the Infant and Preschool Aquatics and Swim and Survive Programs. We are a term-based Swim School which provides more flexibility for the team. Our Swim School Instructors at Kwinana Recquatic are proud to help swimmers achieve new skills and celebrate their milestones.
About you
We are looking for a suitably qualified instructor, who thrives working in a busy environment.
Essential criteria for this role:
- Current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (e.g. Austswim, RLSSWA or equivalent) Accreditation.
- Extension of qualification or demonstrated willingness to attain e.g. Austswim Teacher of Adults, Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Aquatic Access and Inclusion or Competitive Strokes.
- Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and CPR.
