The prospect
An excellent opportunity is available for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a high-performing Insurance Recoveries team in Melbourne.
You will manage a varied portfolio of litigated and unlitigated motor vehicle and property damage recovery matters,
working closely with experienced senior practitioners and insurance clients.
Your practice will include:
- Motor vehicle and property damage recoveries
- Litigated and unlitigated claims
- Negotiated settlements
- Strategic and commercial advice
- Court and dispute-related work
- Direct client relationship management
This is a great opportunity for an Associate looking to step up or a Senior Associate seeking greater autonomy, client exposure and long-term development.
About you
You will ideally have:
- 3+ years’ post-admission experience
- Insurance litigation, recoveries or broader litigation experience
- Motor vehicle or property damage recoveries experience highly regarded
- Strong drafting, negotiation and file-management skills
- Confidence managing multiple matters autonomously
- Robust commercial awareness and client communication skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing your insurance practice
