Our programs include the ANZAC and Hunter Class frigates and air defence applications for Army and Air Force, and Range applications.

Through our longstanding and ongoing collaboration with Defence, CEA Technologies has undertaken research and development into all aspects of active electronically scanned array technologies. This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.

The Position

At CEA, our Procurement Officers do more than just purchase goods and services. They help deliver projects that directly support Australia’s Defence Force.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused professional to join our team. You will work closely with stakeholders across Engineering and Corporate Services, manage end-to-end procurement activities, and promote best practices that keep our manufacturing process running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Purchasing of parts and services as requested within specified timeframes in accordance with CEA Policies and Delegations.

- Maintain detailed purchase order records such as quotes and supplier correspondence.

- Provide advice and information in relation to purchasing procedures and procurement status.

- Assist with preparing compilation of costing data.

- Accuracy of Data entry as required for Purchasing.

- Maintain a professional working relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers.





- Maintain vigilance and security over proprietary information on behalf of CEA.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Knowledge and or qualifications in Supply Chain processes, logistics or equivalent within technical environments is an advantage.

- An ability to follow and develop work instructions to carry out specified activities; a level of technical knowledge is an advantage.

- Competent in use of Microsoft applications including Excel at an intermediate level, experience with and use of PRONTO advantageous.

- Sound written and verbal communication skills, particularly to convey CEA needs to, and negotiate with external suppliers (usually via phone/email).

- Demonstrated/ robust ability to interpret and accurately record a high volume of data, analyse and monitor numerical figures.

- Ability to multi task and prioritise workloads to achieve required outcomes.

Eligibility

- An Australian Citizen;

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – NV1

- ITAR - This position requires employees to access equipment and data that is subject to U.S International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR). As such,
