Mandurah Toyota is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our Service team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles properly, and wants to be part of a strong workshop team.

The Role
As an Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles across a broad range of mechanical systems.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and vehicle system faults
- Repairing and replacing engine, transmission, suspension and other mechanical components
- Performing inspections, road tests and final quality checks
- Accurately documenting findings, recommendations and completed repairs
- Working with Service Advisors and Parts to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
- Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with Toyota requirements
- Using workshop diagnostic equipment and specialised tooling
- Assisting and mentoring apprentices where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Continuing to develop your technical knowledge as vehicles and technology evolve
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A recognised Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic qualification
- The relevant WA Motor Vehicle Repairer certification/licensing requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical ability
- A methodical approach to fault finding and diagnosis
- Good time management and the ability to work independently
- Pride in the quality of your workmanship
- A strong focus on safety
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A professional attitude towards our guests and their vehicles
Highly Regarded
We’d particularly like to hear from technicians with:
- Toyota or dealership experience
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Post-trade experience
- Additional automotive or technical qualifications
- Experience mentoring or training apprentices
Toyota experience is an advantage, but it is not essential.
