About the Role
As a Cable Bolt Operator, you'll be responsible for safely delivering production targets across our underground operations.
You'll be supported by a knowledgeable and experienced team in a collaborative environment focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Secure, efficient operation of Sandvik (DS421’s / DS422i’s)
- Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
- Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
- Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
- Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience as an Underground Cable Bolt Operator operating Sandvik (DS421’s / DS422i’s)
- QA/QC sampling experience
- I-Series (desirable)
- Service Truck Jacon experience (desirable)
- Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers’ licence (Essential)
- Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
- A team mindset and reliable work ethic
