THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking a Senior Robotic Clinical Specialist to join their Adelaide team on a 13-month parental leave contract, with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.
You’ll play a key role in establishing and growing a new robotic surgery programme, supporting surgeons and theatre teams while driving clinical adoption and utilisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with next-generation robotic and AI-enabled technology, build strong relationships with leading clinicians and help shape the future of robotic surgery in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and growth of a new robotic surgery programme.
- Provide hands-on clinical support during robotic-assisted procedures.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and theatre teams.
- Drive clinical education, engagement and utilisation of the technology.
- Partner with the local commercial team to identify growth opportunities.
- Support surgeon education, events and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with global KOLs and internal education teams.
- Leverage digital and AI-enabled technologies to enhance clinical engagement.
- Support programme optimisation, inventory and implementation activities.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare, science or related discipline.
- Robust sales or commercial experience within MedTech, medical devices, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
- Robotic surgery experience is highly desirable; medical device or surgical sales experience is also welcomed.
- Experience across urology, gynaecology, general surgery, hernia or orthopaedic trauma is advantageous.
- Robust commercial acumen with the ability to engage clinicians and drive technology adoption.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Adaptable and quick to learn, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technologies.
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment and providing hands-on procedural support.
- A collaborative, self-aware and motivated team player with a genuine drive to learn and grow.
