Now, Regal is looking for an experienced and motivated Softworks Horticulturist to join our maintenance division. Our expected pay rate for this role is $27.00 - $38.00 per hour plus superannuation.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining commercial landscapes to the highest standards while contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional workplace.

We’d love to hear from you if:

- You hold a qualification in Horticulture (or a related discipline).
- Have demonstrated experience in softworks horticulture, commercial landscaping, civil works or landscape maintenance.
- You hold a current White Card.
- Strong knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation systems, and seasonal maintenance practices.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role,



you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers, seasonal plants, and turf.
- Mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, fertilising, watering, and general garden maintenance.
- Preparing soil, establishing garden beds, installing turf, and maintaining lawns.
- Installing, monitoring, and carrying out basic repairs to irrigation systems.
- Identifying plants and selecting appropriate species for site conditions.
- Diagnosing and assisting with the treatment of plant deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
- Interpreting landscape plans and working to project schedules.
- Safely and effectively operating horticultural tools and equipment.
- Maintaining clean, organised, and safe worksites in accordance with site management plans and safe work procedures.
- Identifying hazards, assisting with risk assessments, and promptly reporting incidents.
- Building positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and members of the public.
