Your recent role

As Credit Team Manager, you'll lead a high performing team of Credit Analysts across both direct and third-party lending channels, while playing a key role in shaping credit strategy, team capability and operational performance. This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll work closely with senior decision-makers and have genuine influence over the future direction of the credit function.

In this role, you will:

- Develop and mentor a growing team of Credit Analysts across direct and broker channels
- Support complex lending decisions and provide guidance on challenging applications
- Improve credit processes, efficiencies and service outcomes across the business
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities to strengthen results
- Partner with stakeholders across lending, operations and business development
- Champion a balanced approach to risk, customer outcomes and commercial growth
- Play a key role in scaling the credit function as the business continues to expand
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that support long-term business success

What you'll need to succeed





- Experience in credit assessment and ready to take the next step into leadership, or proven leadership experience within financial services looking to transition into lending

- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance risk with customer and business outcomes

- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership

- Experience coaching, mentoring or developing others, with a genuine passion for helping people succeed

- Ability to work at a fast pace, manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across a variety of stakeholder groups

- Comfortable navigating complex scenarios and thinking beyond black-and-white lending decisions

- Experience within lending, asset finance, mortgages, commercial finance or specialist lending environments will be highly regarded
