We are establishing a 12 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
Located at Northbridge Campus, however, as we are a multi-campus institution you may be required to work from more than one campus.
About You
We are currently seeking candidates with industry experience and expertise in Business to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area. You will be passionate about sharing your industry expertise and developing the next generation of skilled business professionals.
The lecturer’s role involves delivering and assessing training, mentoring students, supporting practical skill development, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. You will also maintain contemporary industry knowledge through ongoing career development and strong connections with industry, ensuring training remains relevant, current and aligned to workforce needs.

Suitability Requirements
To be considered suitable for this position, you will:
- Hold an Australian or equivalent qualification in Business. If your qualification has been obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification(s) recognised.
- Have at least 5 years industry experience
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110),
or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024) in line with the Registration Standards 2025. Applicants who do not yet hold the required VET qualification may still apply; however, the successful candidate must enrol in an approved training and assessment qualification and complete it within two years of commencing.
- Have relevant skills and experience to meet the selection criteria and role requirements as outlined in the JDF.
- Have current Industry experience and knowledge with Business and/or Leadership, Business Administration, Management.
Eligibility Requirements and Other Conditions
To be considered eligible for employment, you will:
- Possess current and valid Australian working rights (e.g. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or an appropriate working visa). Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Hold, or have the ability to obtain:
- Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- Working With Children (WWC) Card
