About the Role

The Placement / Agency Supervisor will provide professional supervision, guidance, and support to social work students completing their field education placements. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring students achieve their learning objectives while maintaining professional and ethical practice standards.

This position is ideal for an someone who have Masters Degree in Social Work and has at least 3 years experience as a social worker who is passionate about mentoring future professionals and contributing to workforce development within the disability sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide regular skilled supervision to social work students.

- Assist students in developing learning goals and placement plans.





- Support students to integrate theory into practice within disability and community services settings.

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Complete placement-related documentation, assessments, and reports as required by universities.

- Liaise with university field education coordinators and academic staff.

- Ensure students adhere to organisational policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

- Participate in placement reviews, evaluations, and quality improvement activities.

- Support a positive learning environment that promotes reflective practice and professional growth.
