We are seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd Class Welder to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves MIG welding, light fabrication, assembly work, and riveting as required. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, take pride in quality workmanship, and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding to a high standard.
- Carry out light fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Complete riveting operations as required.
- Read and interpret basic workshop drawings and job sheets.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
- Assist with general workshop duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous welding experience.
- Competent MIG welding skills.
- Experience with light fabrication and sheet metal work desirable.
- willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
