Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join the team at Ballarat depot. In this role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS and Rail Safety management systems across the project. Working closely with project and operations teams, you will help ensure strong safety governance, compliance and a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development and maintenance of EHS and Rail Safety plans, procedures, systems and documentation.
- Monitor safety performance, risks, incidents, KPIs and actions, ensuring timely close-out and reporting.
- Conduct audits and support compliance with EHS legislation, ISO 45001/14001 and project requirements.
- Partner with project teams and safety committees to promote consultation, communication and strong safety governance.




- Drive continuous improvement through safety initiatives, training, campaigns, knowledge sharing and best-practice implementation.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) or equivalent.
- A valid Construction Industry Card.
- 2+ years' experience in field-based EHS/WHS roles implementing safety management systems.
- Experience developing, implementing and monitoring risk management tools.
- Strong understanding of safety management systems, compliance and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving continuous improvement.
- The ability to work effectively in a quick-paced, operational environment.

- Work Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week
