About the Role

We're looking for experienced and motivated Scaffolders to join our team on a casual basis.

Based in the Illawarra Region, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of construction, commercial and industrial projects. No two days are necessarily the same, and you'll be part of a hands-on team that takes pride in getting the job done safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

As a Scaffolder with Builtrite, you'll play an important role in delivering safe and reliable access solutions while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

- Erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.

- Carrying and moving materials, tools, and equipment to the work area.

- Conducting pre-start and pre-use inspections to identify defects, hazards or safety concerns.

- Inspecting completed scaffolds to ensure they meet safety standards.

- Working safely in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, WHS legislation and site requirements.

- Communicating and working effectively with supervisors, contractors and fellow team members.

- Identifying and reporting hazards,



defects and unsafe conditions.

- Working at heights and in a range of construction and industrial environments.

- Performing basic maintenance on scaffolding equipment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are reliable, safety-focused and take pride in their work.

To be successful, you will have:

- A current White Card.

- Proven scaffolding experience.

- Relevant scaffolding qualifications or licences.

- Current Working at Heights certification — required.

- A sound understanding of scaffolding safety requirements and industry standards.

- The ability to read and interpret drawings and project specifications.

- The physical capability to perform demanding work and work comfortably at heights.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

- Current Confined Space Entry certification is highly desired.
